The XXL hidden bracket is perfect for very heavy floating shelves, mantels, breakfast bars and more.

Brackets are made from 1/4″ thick, 2″ by ~3.6″ American steel plate that is welded to 3/4″ round steel tube (16 GA), 8″ long. Post length can be modified to suit your needs; please contact us for pricing a custom length.

Each bracket can hold up to 50 pounds spread over it’s length and when properly anchored into structure. I strongly recommend using a #9 screw or better. Four mounting holes are provided for this purpose, making these brackets especially useful with masonry walls and / or when your shelf doesn’t neatly cross multiple studs. Mounting instructions are included with each shipment.

Lightly painted flat black to seal the steel and resist rusting.

Brief mounting instructions:
(1) Drill 13/16″ holes into your mantel, shelf or other item you wish to hang, taking care to place them 16″ apart or where your studs are located.
(2) Slide brackets into the hole. Mark the wall with the brackets inside the holes.
(3) Remove your mantel, shelf, etc, and hold each bracket against the wall where markings were made and screw it into place.
