These XL L-brackets are 14″ x 10″ with a compound gusset and intended to support overhangs on kitchen islands, “floating” bathroom vanities, counters, and any other work surface. This listing is for one bracket. These are ultra strong supports made from 1/4″ thick, 2″ wide steel with a 1/4″ x 1-1/4″ gusset. The combination of 1/4″ thick steel and the gusset make these amazingly strong. Although I am not a structural engineer, I am unable to deform these brackets with 200# of force. Three mounting holes are provided for mounting into structure on the vertical surface. There are no holes on the horizontal surface since these are often used with stone. However, I can drill those upon request. As is always the case, the bracket / support is only as strong as the structure it’s mounted to. 🙂 I strongly recommend using #9 engineered screws or better and mounting into solid structure.

The XL version is 14″ deep and 10″ tall. The XL version offers a compound gusset that is approximately 5″ tall and 9″ deep (see pictures). There is substantially more load bearing capacity and labor in the XL version.
