Description

These 12″ x 6″ supports are intended to support counter-tops, overhangs on kitchen islands, “floating” bathroom vanities, wall mount work surfaces, and any other work surface. These ultra strong supports are appropriate for stone, wood, or a synthetic material. They’re made from 1/4″ thick, 2″ wide steel with a 1/4″ x 1-1/4″ gusset / stanchion. The combination of 1/4″ thick steel and the gusset make these amazingly strong. Although I am not a structural engineer, I am unable to deform these brackets with 200# of force. Three mounting holes are provided for mounting into structure. As is always the case, the bracket / support is only as strong as the structure it’s mounted to. 🙂 I strongly recommend using #9 engineered screws or better and mounting into solid structure.

The brackets are nominally 12″ deep and 6″ tall. The gusset beneath is ~6″ long x 1.25″ tall. They are coated with a satin or flat black rust inhibiting finish. Custom dimensions are always available – some are shown in pictures – simply contact us for more information.
